In May of 2020, I began a passion project creating fake craft beer labels of prominent NFL superstars. It combined so many of my passions into one–illustration, logo design, humor, graphic design, football–And gave me a creative outlet at a time that I really needed it. I would eventually turn it into a legitimate side-hustle, selling shirts, pints, prints and stickers online as the project gained a cult following. The collection would balloon to over 150 designs by its eventual end in August of 2024, and each and every design remains on my Instagram page. To this day this is the project that I am most frequently asked about.
